The Young Hearts and Hands Foundation (YHAH) 

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Katy, Texas community volunteers Annie Hilton, Kristi Carroll, and Dawn Champagne. Inspired by years of hands-on service, they recognized a growing need to connect local nonprofits seeking support with young people eager to give back.

YHAH was created to bridge that gap, empowering youth to serve, lead, and make a lasting impact in their communities.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Young Hearts and Hands is committed to a wide range of volunteer opportunities!

❤️ SENIORS

Mowing lawns, delivering meals, and other various needs.

❤️ ANIMALS

Supporting shelters and other non-profits dedicated to the care of animals.

❤️ FAITH

Food pantries are located in churches or other community service projects of faith groups.

❤️ COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Food pantries, supply drives, comfort cases, project dorm room, and other support.

❤️ YOUTH

Special Olympics, Attack Poverty, and other charities devoted to the care of youth.

❤️ DISASTER RESPONSE

Katy Responds and other non-profits that specialize in caring for disaster-related events.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:

WE INVITE ENTHUSIASTIC YOUTH AGES 14-21 TO
LEND A HELPING HAND IN OUR COMMUNITY!

VOLUNTEER HOURS:

❤️ 25 HOURS – KINDNESS SEED

Represents planting the first seeds of service and kindness. 

❤️ 50 HOURS – HELPING HAND

Signifies stepping up and becoming a reliable helper in the community. 

❤️ 75 HOURS – SHINING HEART

Reflects consistent dedication and a heart that shines through service. 

❤️ 100 HOURS – LEGACY LEADER

Honors those who’ve gone above and beyond, leaving a lasting impact.

❤️ We will provide letters of recommendation for all youth who successfully complete their hours with our organization!

8:30 am: 3.75 miles starts

8:45 am: 1.25 miles starts

Order deadline: All Fun Run shirt orders must be submitted by March 12th.
